The firstDay for Ireland (IE) was changed in CLDR 1.9 to be Monday via : , however, via : it will be reverted to Sunday in CLDR 21.0.1.

It was a mistake to do this. It was also the decision of the relevant NSAI committee, conveyed to the CLDR by its Irish representative Séamus Ó Ciardhuáin. I have no idea who Yoshito is, but he had no business changing this on the basis of a bunch of dodgy calendar widgets and certainly not without contacting Irish representatives to Unicode.

Change the first day of the week back to Sunday, as we have specified. Thank you.
