Italian Locale

Description

Deleted Component: unknown

I'm Italian and working with Zend Framework, which uses locale data from your
work, I noticed some inconsistencies and missing data in gregorian calendar
Italian translations. I would like to contribute to this project in some way, I
would have expected a ticket system like other projects I already submit bugs
to. Finally, after reading and following links, I found this form to submit this
request. In particular the problems discovered are the following:

1) Italian -> months/7/format/wide is Luglio with capital letter, but the others
months/*/format/wide are lower.

2) Italian -> months/[1-12]/stand-alone/wide has months only until 7
(July/Luglio) and the one missing that are in the missing list are lower case.
The missing ones should be:
months/8/stand-alone/wide -> Agosto
months/9/stand-alone/wide -> Settembre months/10/stand-alone/wide -> Ottobre
months/11/stand-alone/wide -> Novembre months/12/stand-alone/wide -> Dicembre

As a part of bug http://www.unicode.org/cldr/bugs-private/locale-bugs-private/data?id=2227, I added a consistency test for casing. It just generates warnings for now, and the test is very simple: given a bucket of translations (eg language names), does everything have the same first-letter casing as the first item. Although simple (and not bulletproof!), it is revealing...

Eg.

cs [Czech] warning names|language|lb 〈Luxembourgish〉 【】 〈Lucemburština〉 «=» 【】 Warning: First letter case of <Lucemburština>=upper doesn't match that of <afarština>=lower (names|language|aa). //ldml/localeDisplayNames/languages/language[@type="lb"]

cs [Czech] warning names|language|om 〈Oromo〉 【】 〈Oromo (Afan)〉 «=» 【】 Warning: First letter case of <Oromo (Afan)>=upper doesn't match that of <afarština>=lower (names|language|aa). //ldml/localeDisplayNames/languages/language[@type="om"]

cs [Czech] warning names|language|ps 〈Pashto〉 【】 〈Pashto (Pushto)〉 «=» 【】 Warning: First letter case of <Pashto (Pushto)>=upper doesn't match that of <afarština>=lower (names|language|aa). //ldml/localeDisplayNames/languages/language[@type="ps"]
